Its been ages since i have participated in an Artful Crafting Challenge. I recently got my hands on some Altenew stamp sets from Amna Hasan at the Creative Element.
Also i got a heidi swapp stamp set which is a wonderful woodgrain texture. So a sort of an idea formed in my mind a wood textured no bulk shaker card…i tried my best to execute it. I hope you like it =) I Used Embossing Powder and Heat tool.
Its a card measuring 6×4 inches.
I took a piece of white cardstock and applied Vintage Photo Distress ink directly via inkpad to the page covering it completely. I then took a piece of white vellum and cut it to the same size as the cardstock.
I then stamped the heidi swapp stamp in versamark and heat embossed it using Rangers Seafoam White embossing powder and Ranger Heat it tool. These are available at Artful Crafting.
I did not prep the vellum with a powder tool on purpose to get a scattered look as the embossing powder sticks here and there.I added double sided tape to the inked cardstock and carefully pooled some golden star sequins in the middle of it.
I adhered the vellum to the inked cardstock. Yayy a no bulk shaker card…i like the subtle effect it gives.
Then i added some Prima wire thread in white inked with Peeled paint distress ink at the bottom.
I adhered the “wood” to a precut white card base. I stamped flowers and leaves from Altenew Vintage roses stamp set using distress inks and pigment inks and die cut them with a coordinating die.I also stamped a sentiment from the Label love stamp set from Altenew and popped it with foam tape for dimension.Ā I embellished the card and Viola we are done:) A few more closeups:)Ā I hope that you all like this card:)
